O Shot – Vaginal Rejuvenation
Safe and effective
The O Shot is a non-invasive procedure which harnesses the power of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) which is extracted from your own blood before being used to improve the health and vitality of your vagina.
The O Shot encourages your body’s stem cells to produce new tissue, including collagen and adipose (fatty) tissue, nerve endings, and blood vessels. The procedure causes your vaginal tissue to become thicker with the added benefit of heightened sensitivity thanks to increased blood flow to the erogenous zones.
Dr Fatima will guide you sensitively through the treatment from beginning to end to ensure you feel safe and comfortable before, throughout and after your treatment.
Dr Fatima will consult with you prior to commencing any treatment in order to assess the area aswell as answer any questions or concerns you may have about the treatment.
Frequently asked questions
FAQs about o shot
How does the O Shot work?
The O Shot treatment uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood. The plasma is created by spinning your blood in our centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the blood's platelet-rich plasma. The PRP is then injected back into your body in order to stimulate and speed up the healing process. PRP can be used to rejuvenate many areas of the body.
Is there any downtime?
You can return to normal life immediately but may find that it takes up to 3 days to feel fully recovered and for any discomfort to pass.
There is a risk of infection and bruising but these risks are much less when the treatment is performed by a medical professional.
Is the O Shot painful?
You may feel some discomfort during the procedure but Dr Fatima is able to apply a local anaesthetic to numb the area being treated.
We advise that you avoid taking any NSAIDs such as aspirin and ibruprofen in the days leading up to your treatment as these can thin the blood.
