Frequently asked questions
How does Microneedling/Radio-frequency work?
3D Dermaforce is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing process to encourage collagen production of the dermic resulting in anti-ageing and skin tightening, however, it can also be used to treat concerns such as hooded eyelids, and to improve the skin laxity above the knees.
During the 3D Dermaforce treatment, fine needles create tiny holes in the skin and deliver bi-polar radiofrequency energy through the lower portion of the needle. The gold-plated, insulated needles help to protect the skin’s surface and dermal layer. The addition of the radiofrequency heals the collagen fibres in the dermis to between 55-65°C, helping to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Collagen fibres are contracted, stimulating fibroblast activity, resulting in new and healthy collagen cells.
Which areas can be treated?
3D Dermaforce can treat most areas of the body, but the most popular areas include the face, neck, abdomen and skin above the knees.
How many treatments are recommended?
Results can be seen after just one treatment but for optimal results we recommend a course of three treatments.
